Sam is a very social man of 17 years who works as a barista at a local Starbucks. Previously, people used to tell him that he had no hopes of finding a job because he suffers from autism and finds it difficult to move well. However, these conditions never prevented him to live like any other normal person.

It was while he was attending a function organized by Integrated Services for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, that he happened to meet with Chris Ali, the Starbucks store manager. They got to introduce each other and conversed a lot. The coffee chain workers were there at the camp trying to help people with how to go about answering interview questions for employment. Sam was instantly attracted to the coffee job, and that’s how Ali came to talk with Sam’s parents about that.

Sam took the coffee job and adapted well into it. His jiggling was of much help to him to maintain his movement disorder. He soon became very appreciated with most customers because of his gentleness and kindness, Ai and Sam became very united.

For this reason, Ellen DeGeneres decided to invite the two to her show. Like you always know, Ellen had a surprise for them.

Watch the video below to see as she opens the envelope that was in the tip jar. Wow, so touching for Sam’s dreams to turn to a reality! Please SHARE this lovely story to all your friends on Facebook!
